Joyce (Levalasi)'s Story

At one time, I was known as a young lady, up to no good, all trouble and probably wouldn't amount to anything productive. I had the reputation of walking a path that should have ended in destruction: affiliated in gang violance; drug, alcohol addict; a bitter, lost, angry young girl looking for love, acceptance, place of belonging in all the wrong places. In June of 1996 I met a man named "Jesus." God used a ministry called, "Victory Outreach in the beautiful City of Boyle Heights" to reach out to a nuckle head like me. I gave my life to Him. Since then, I've committed my life to Him. Today I am a changed woman. All these years, I have been faithfully serving Him, in this AWESOME ministry God has placed me. Through these times, I've been able to continuously share with many young children, women from many different backgrounds, youth in the Juvenile Hall Systems, the message and hope of Jesus ...Expand for more
Christ. The solution that was able to turn my life around, "Through Christ Jesus, ALL things are possible." The countless times that I've tried changing on my own, would last momentarily. But I die to myself daily, so He could live through me. I am but a living vesel that He, my Lord and Savior can shine. I would like to extend this invitation to you and your family to join us Fridays-7:30pm, Sundays-10:30am or 6pm located at 3751 E. Olympic Blvd. (2-blocks west of Indiana off of the 5 Interstate Fwy), Los Angeles, CA 90023, Church #(323)263-5692. Child care is provided for and during all services, children ages: Infants - 11yrs. of age. ALL are invited. My service to the Lord is not only for myself. But I am blessed to say that my husband and children, our family serve our Mighty God together. If our Creator can do such a Miraculous job in my life, He can surely do a work in you. God bless.
